We are committed in our mission to rescue cows and provide shelter to aging and speechless cows and strive to build a modern animal shelter with advanced infrastructure and facilities for accommodating upto 300 cows.
OUR VISION
Our vision is to complete the entire establishment and launch operations by pooling in capital and inviting donations towards our charitable fund. This animal shelter, Karunamandir, is to be developed as a self-sustainable independent ecosystem to serve as an exemplary specimen for more such future models to come.
At JeevDaya, a shelter for speechless animals and the holy mother cow, we rescue cows and other animals headed for the slaughter and give them a new lease of life at our animal shelter.
What started off as a humanitarian effort very soon escalated to the form of an animal shelter. Encouraged by our success, we are empowered in our convictions to start a fully enabled animal shelter to accommodate 300 or more cows.
To make the Cowshed self-reliant for growing suitable crops on this land for forage and income, we request you to donate. Works like protection wall, drip irrigation, bore, sprinkler, farm-pond, solar and animal sheds, bird platforms and forage-storage are possible only via your kindness. Please encourage others to provide financial help to the Jeevdaya farm in this tough time and come forward generously for the acts of kindness.An estimated sum of INR. 80 Lakh is required for immediate expansion of the space to protect more animals. There is a recurring survival expense of 2 lakhs. More than 450 birds are being fed here every day.
We take care of abandoned, injured and slaughterhouse-rescued cows, bullsand calves; by providing nutritious food, clean water,medical attention and lifetime accommodation.
Jains and Hindus are prosperous only because of our ancestors, who gave priority to human welfare. That’s why the holy cow is named ‘KAMDHENU’ in the scriptures.Let us celebrate welfare and compassion for this challenging work initiated with a pure heart. We allow cows to live out their full life span, nurse their calves, and graze freely on organic pastures. We do not breed cows and gives preference to rescuing cows.
If your heart skips a beat, every time you see or hear of animal cruelty, you can join us to give rescued animals a new home and a new start to a new life. We accept contributions in the form of humble donations which is used for the betterment of animals or you can join us in our efforts to spend a day in the service of our dear animals at our animal shelter.

Building an animal shelter for cows is not just cost intensive but also requires constant care and attention to maintain the cows. Our honourable trustees & panel of advisors aspire to achieve and accomplish this long-term goal by breaking it down into several short-term milestones.Our charitable society we have been able to rehabilitate 150+ cows that were rescued from the slaughterhouse and we have given them a new home at an animal shelter run by our charitable trust.
Feed & Fodder
Providing the finest quality of cattle feed and fodder for our beloved cows and feeding them at timely intervals.
Bathing & Washing
Taking the cows out for water time at the nearest pond for cleaning and washing.
Grazing & Play Time
Indulge in some fun and play with cows as they set out in a herd for their favorite pastime.
Roofed Shed at Night
At night, especially for sick and aging cows, roofed shelters are provided for comfort and protection.
Be the voice for those who need to be heard loudest. Animals do not speak human language but they can communicate their feelings. Speechless animals can become extremely depressed and sad when their feelings are hurt or they cannot communicate their pain. Often, as rescue workers, we have encountered speechless animals quietly shedding tears as they are lined up for being sent to the slaughter houses in carrier vehicles. DonateAt present our efforts have culminated in establishing an Animal Welfare & Conservation Center for 50 cows. The Animal Shelter is registered under the name of Shri Hari Sewa Trust and duly supported by our honorable Trustees & Board of Advisors. The infrastructure & facilities in our Animal shelter at present are limited and need to be upgraded to accommodate more animals and lodge them comfortably. A lot of cows need to be rescued and it is not possible with your help.
Inspired by the deep and rich history of our land and its association with cows, we are deeply saddened by the dilapidated conditions in which cows are subjected to, often leading to them ending up in the slaughterhouse. Rescuing cows is our moral duty as they are innocent animals who represent the Supreme Maternal embodiment. As animal lovers we extend the same compassion and love for other rescue animals as well as speechless animals.
